Cheese & Pepper Soup (from Irene) 1 c. chopped celery 1 c. chopped onions 1 qt. of half & half 1 c. grated cheddar cheese 2 c. cheez whiz 1 c. diced tomatoes 3 chopped Jalapeños Salt Cook celery, onion & Jalapeños in a little water till done, add cream but do not boil add cheese then add tomatoes before serving.

Asparagus Quesadillas Cut 2 lbs. of asparagus in 2 inch pieces. Lay on large cookie sheet. Slice 1 red onion & lay on top, sprinkle olive oil, salt & pepper on top. Miwith hands Bake 500° 8-10 min. Lay mixture on top of flour tortillas and then shredded pepper Jack cheese put another tortilla on top & brush with olive oil. Put under broiler till brown and crispy. Watch closely
